Another election night, another masterclass in visualisation from Global.
This is commercial radio in 2020. Very impressive #ElectionNight coverage from @LBC, to be expected. The Westminster studio is incredible. Insightful guests/reporters and the usual great chemistry between @IainDale and @ShelaghFogarty. Another masterclass from @global 👏 pic.twitter.com/h4owOLGCoC

We sometimes hear from fans of our great medium:
Why does radio have to become TV?
It doesn’t.
The power of words is still king - but, in this age of social media, video is the right content marketing strategy.
Plus, LBC’s style of news coverage/topical debate competes with both media, so it’s good for the brand to be able to engage an audience that prefers a polished visual experience while maintaining quality radio output.
In fact, TV should apply this audio first, visuals second mantra too - focusing on what is said, not just what is seen.
